Customer call notes your agent briefs you from
Before a call you want the last one back: what the customer asked for, what you promised, which price you named. The notes are spread over a document, an email and a chat that has scrolled away, and the assistant that could brief you in a minute would have to find all three first.
Keep them in Pando, one bullet per customer with each call as a dated bullet under it and what was decided and promised in its note, and connect your agent to Pando: before a call you ask it to read the customer’s branch and brief you, and after the call it files the summary under that call’s date. This suits one person who wants the calls in the same outline as the rest of their notes; a team, or anyone who wants deals and a pipeline, is better served by a CRM.
Set it up
- Point the client at https://pando.ink/mcp, which speaks streamable HTTP.
- Authenticate with OAuth 2.1 and dynamic client registration, or paste a key from Agents and API keys as a Bearer token.
If you connect by OAuth, choose Read and write your outline on Pando’s consent page, so the agent can file the summaries. A key from Agents and API keys comes with Let it read and write this outline ticked. ChatGPT is set up on a computer, and whether it can write into Pando from its phone app is not established.
Either way the agent starts on your whole outline. To hold it to your customers, make a bullet called Sales with a bullet called Customers inside it. Open Sales, open Agents and API keys in Settings, tap the agent’s row under Your agents, and press Let it reach only “Sales”, the bullet you are in. It then reads and writes Sales and everything under it and reaches nothing else. It remembers there too, which is why the press goes on Sales: its own notes land beside Customers, not among your customers. Its old memory bullet stays where it was, out of its reach, so press it only if this agent uses Pando for customers alone.

Who the customer is goes in the customer’s note, and each call is a bullet under it, the date first and the decisions, promises and requests in its note. The agent writes 2026-09-18, and while you are not editing the line Pando draws it as Fri, 18 Sep 2026. A call the agent adds lands last, below the calls already there. The next call shows on 6 October in the day view of Pando’s Calendar, and with Customers open, a search for 2026-09-01..2026-09-30 lists every call dated in September.
Before and after a call
Before: In Pando, find Acme GmbH under Customers and read that branch in markdown mode, notes included. Brief me for the call: what they asked for, what I promised, what is still open. After: Here are my notes from today’s call: … If a bullet for today’s call is already under Acme GmbH in Pando, put the summary in its note and replace the words after the date. Otherwise add the call as the last bullet under Acme GmbH: today’s date as YYYY-MM-DD, then what the call was about. The note: decisions first, then what I promised, then what they asked for. If a next call was set, add it as its own bullet, dated the same way.
Markdown mode is the part to keep: an agent’s default read of a branch in Pando leaves the notes out, and the notes are where the calls are. Ask for the date in digits, because only 2026-09-18 becomes a date; 18 September in words stays plain text.
Two things to know
- Nothing briefs you by itself. Pando starts no agent: the agent reads the branch when you ask it, and not before. Pando does not record or transcribe the call either; the summary comes from the notes you give the agent.
- Every past call’s date is drawn red, as an overdue pill, and nothing turns that off, so a customer’s history always looks late.
Where Pando is not the answer
- A real CRM, for a team or for deals and a pipeline. HubSpot’s free CRM tools come "With up to two users, 1,000 contacts, and no limits on customer data", and "the HubSpot connector for Claude is available for free": with it Claude can "Update deal stages, log call notes, or create follow-up tasks directly from any chat". HubSpot’s Sales Plugin adds call prep: "Prepare for every call with a full brief."
- The call itself, word for word. Pando hears nothing. Granola "transcribes in the background while you stay present", "Works with Zoom, Google Meet, Teams and every other meeting app", and says "Connect Granola in a few clicks and your AI apps become aware of your meeting notes."
